Family Foundations
Many individuals have access to family foundations through which they make gifts to Russell Sage College. While the Foundation is the legal donor, the individual responsible for the gift will also receive credit for the gift.
Corporate Matching
With matching gifts you can sometimes double or even triple your gift! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please enter your employer’s name below.
If your company matches you may be able to access the forms directly through the search. Follow the set procedure, and Russell Sage College will be happy to assist. The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

Securities
Securities are a wonderful way to make an increased gift, avoid capital gains and receive a tax benefit. Highly appreciated securities offer alumnae/i an easy way to make a larger gift than one may think possible.
Donor Advised Funds
If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), you can recommend grants to the charities you support with the option of being recognized or remaining anonymous.

The Office of Government and Foundation Relations is responsible for cultivating relationships with, and soliciting funds from, public and private foundations and government officials and organizations in support of the institution’s priorities.
